Spot offers two base policies: accident-and-illness and accident-only. Your pet can see any veterinarian in the U.S. or Canada to receive covered treatments, from surgeries to prescription medications.

Accident-and-Illness

Spot’s accident-and-illness plan covers your dog or cat in the event of unexpected emergencies and illnesses. You can customize your monthly premium by selecting from the following options:

• Deductible: $100, $250, $500, $750, or $1,000
• Reimbursement Rate: 70%, 80%, or 90%
• Annual Limit: $2,500; $3,000; $4,000; $5,000; $7,000; $10,000; or unlimited

Other Features of Spot Pet Insurance

Deductibles: You can select between five annual deductibles for its accident-and-illness and accident-only plans: $100, $250, $500, $750, and $1,000.

Coverage Limits: Spot’s base policies have seven annual coverage limit options: $2,500; $3,000; $4,000; $5,000; $7,000; $10,000; and unlimited. The unlimited option means there’s no cap on annual payouts once you meet your deductible.

Age Limits: There’s no upper age limit with Spot pet insurance, so your senior pet can enroll in coverage at any time. Young puppies and kittens must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll in coverage.
